If you haven’t noticed yet, credenzas are back in a big way. My parents had the dream credenza and, along with a lot of their belongings, I keep wondering where the heck it is now. I have a small Lane credenza I found at the Alemeda Flea Market, but it doesn’t quite make my heart sing, so I’ve been seeking one that does. I know Grace at design*sponge has been hot on the trail for her perfect credenza, too. Perhaps they’re popular again because they look sleek and stylish and are an excellent piece to create a centerpiece for a room and display fabulous accessories. Another plus is that credenzas usually offer a great amount of hidden space for storing away whatever it is you want to tuck out of sight, which is great for apartment dwellers. I use mine to hold all my cameras and equipment. So, without further ado, here’s a peek into some of the great looking credenzas out there in all their glorious shapes and sizes.
Many thanks to the flickr taste makers who shared their credenza style with us in order of appearance: janicapaints, emma, amber in norfolk, artdsgnr, bird in the hand, sandra139, lazybone cafe and sfduchamp.
