Where for Art Thou, Beloved Homes?
I saw this new book on the wonderful Stockholm-based blog from Annika, HOOM.STHLM, that I shared with you a few days ago. It’s IKEA’s new book Beloved Homes, photographed by Swedish lifestyle photographer Stellan Herner (his work can be seen in many issues of Elle Decor). The problem is, I can’t seem to find it on the U.S. IKEA site. Anyone know where we can track these down? I’d love a copy, and I think you might, too. It looks quite fun and un-catalog-like.

Didn’t even know IKEA had published a book. I need it now. :)
I contacted IKEA-USA customer service to see how we can get ahold of the book. I gave them a link here to show how I heard about the book.

We have it in Sweden, and it’s great. Even if I can’t read it all, the photos and homes are amazing! I’d imagine it won’t be long before it makes it to the U.S. If I can find out I’ll let you know.

I was at Ikea in Paramus, NJ Friday night and they did not have the book.
I’ve heard that it’s been translated to 16 languages and will be sold in 21 countries. So it should probably be available near you soon, just hold on! :)
I just bought it in Stoughton, MA on Saturday. It is TO DIE FOR.

Victoria, did you ever find it? They had a ton at Ikea in Covina last weekend, for $1.99 a copy! I picked one up and love it. Let me know if you’d like me to pick one up for you – I’m heading back this weekend for a couple more things.
