Weeekend Find: Lucie Summers.

Orouni, a musician in France who plays with Milk & Fruit Juice, sent me their recent concert poster with artwork from Lucie Summers. I rather liked the black & white print (below), so I went investigating and found Lucie’s etsy shop, lusummers. There you can find her lovely sketchbooks and gocco prints, sketches and mixed media collages, all which are really quite special.     I love Lucie’s work, in fact I’m lucky enough to own some of it. I really want one of her sketchbooks next.

    I too am the proud owner of a Lucie original and her work is so good. Beautiful.

    I discovered Lucie a few months back and have been in love ever since.

    Very inspiring. I like the way she combines so many materials, and yet it still feels light, not overwhelming. Thanks for the good read.
