Oh, and happy, happy Friday.
Okay, so I’m pretty much walking on cloud ninety-nine-hundred after my morning at The Legion of Honor with Annie Leibovitz. It is a very, happy, happy Friday for me, indeed and I have come away from this morning’s press conference so inspired!! I will post a full report, along with a slew of photographs, on Monday, but I wanted to share this image of Annie Leibovitz I was able to capture after the tour. This is Annie next to her favorite photograph – a portrait of her mother, unsmiling – which is a story unto itself, and which I will elaborate more about on Monday. I was so thrilled to be a part of this tour today, and am contemplating rushing out to buy a new camera, like right-this-instant. Have a great weekend everyone, and check back Monday to share in my inspiration.
An Appointment With Annie.
I am really, really excited that I have been invited to a press conference (hey, I’m with the press!) with none other than Annie Leibovitz this morning! I have been invited (and I am sure this must be some kind of wicked error – it’s like that movie, The Party, when Peter Sellers ends up on the party list, instead of the ‘never work again in this town’ list) to attend coffee, a press conference, and then a private tour with Ms. Leibovitz and other members of the press to view her new exhibition of work A Photographer’s Life, 1990–2005 at San Francisco’s Legion of Honor. Until then, I am MIA for the day. I will report back later! And will try and behave myself.
Spring, She Is A Comin’.
At least here in San Francisco, Spring is on the way. It’s just glorious out there today.

Sex, Blogs and Rock & Roll.
Well, maybe not the sex, but one can hope! I sold one of my photographs to a new band, The Panderers, which is featured on their record cover above. You can listen to their music and purchase their EP on amazon, and visit The Panderers’ website for tour dates and learn more about them on myspace. I’m off to get a couple tattoos. Later, man.
