   Lovely homage to Saul Bass’, Henri’s Walk to Paris. Makes me think of all the children’s illustrators whom I admire from the 60′s and 70′s.

   Thank you everyone for the nice comments!! Hippy Chic we live in Portland now and love it.I do miss the south from time to time though :)
   I’m very excited to be showing at Jonathan Adler! I have been painting for 15 years and am so happy to be able to do this for a living and for such a long time . I couldn’t see spending my life any other way. I feel very lucky and happy.

   I’m so happy for Matte, he has worked hard a long time to get where he is. I do believe that relocating to the Pacific Northwest was an inspiring move for him!

   Wonderful work Matte! Congratulations on showing with jonathan Adler! I have a couple of your paintings from years ago and still love them! They are both abstract paintings I smile every time I look at them.
