put a pretty stake in it.

Pigeon Toe Ceramics got fed up by the ugly plastic markers that come with herb starters from the nursery. They certainly serve their purpose, but they felt that practical and beautiful are not disparate adjectives, and set out to correct the situation. So, these simple, yet very pretty unglazed porcelain garden stakes were created. I just replanted my entire balcony with tomatoes, lavender, rosemary and other assorted fresh herbs, and used those traditional metal marker stakes. I wish I’d found these sooner! Sold as a set of four with all the popular varieties to choose from, you can beautify your garden and get rid of those insidious plastic tags forever. Available at Pigeon Toe Ceramics.

Very clean and still play-full. Agreed, so much better than those ugly plastic or wood sticks with the magic marker bleeding everywhere.
Very nice and cute idea. I love herbs!
what a great patio!! love the markers as well, thanks for the link.
i love these! I’ve been wanting to start an herb garden and I would get these in a hot second!
So clean yet tactile at the same time. You can just imagine how cool they would be to touch and how comfortably they would sit in your hand – I love objects like this! Just beautiful.
