As much as I love our Australian winter, I’m SO looking forward to the return of Summer! I miss the beach and even though it’s not cold enough for snow where I am, I’m still well and truly over the icy cold wind! Come onnnn Summer!

I spent 6 years in Southern CA and while SF makes me happy, I miss the beach and the predictable sun so much. This pic just makes me happy…warm water, hot sand, perfect waves happy.

Oddly reminds my of the sun bleached yet stormy and slightly other worldly sets from the Claire Danes Romeo and Juliet. At once retro and modern, almost an alternate universe.

Not sure why, but this pic reminds me of a cross between the Winnetka Drive-in Movie Theater (circa 1960′s) and a trek through a desert city, maybe Victorville or Palm Springs.
This photo is the reason why I moved to California (that and Calistoga mudbaths :o)

Reminds me of this beach (in CA) where I did the splits for the first time while my great grandma watched…and then we went to witness my Dad graduate from a special Masters program at USC. Bonus moment: a butterfly sat on my shoulder for like a block post-ceremony. Big days!
