time out with erin: surprise!
Today’s Time Out post is a challenge. My birthday is in two weeks, and one of the items on my gift list is this surprise ball from Kiosk [what can I say? I love tiny things and surprises!]. So… I’m posing a DIY challenge.

Take the afternoon, collect some tiny things from your home or local thrift store, and create a surprise ball of your own. I’m assuming you can do this pretty easily with Japanese masking tape, but feel free to go a little crazy and put your own spin on it. If you accept the challenge, I want to see the finished result! Comment below with a link to your image and let the games begin!

Hello
I usually make these for Christmas as “advent balls”. I use crepe paper streamers to wrap each day and fill them with found objects that I collect through out the year and of course chocolate.
I love this idea. Focusing on the small things in life is a sweet deviation :)
