vintage finds for a modern world: hindsvik.
it’s another three weeks or so until the alameda flea market (held the first sunday of each month) and i was jonesing for some fun vintage finds. so i went to my ‘plan b’ — etsy vintage shops are the next best thing to the real flea market! i discovered this cute etsy shop, hindsvik, which is chock full of some very cute vintage homewares!

[ Electrohome Seafoam Green Fan ]

[ pretty paint by numbers ]

[ vintage school clock ]

[ set of multicolored ladels ]

[ Wood Grain print Tin case with key ]

[ floral plastic picnic juice cups ]

Next Time in SF I HAVE to go to Alameda Flea Market.
Nice finds,I love the fan.
OMG my mom has that tin case…I remember her storing important papers in it when I was little (but hers was bigger).I am so in love with that green fan….I want to get one of those one day, although I really don’t have room for it.Thanks for sharing the pretty things.
Oh sad… I clicked on the fan and it was sold! *insert sad face here*
Wow. It’s time for me to re-evaluate my prices. I have many of the same items as her but for at least a fifth of the price. Maybe I should admit: I’m a collector, not a sales person. Sigh.
P.S. Is there anyone out there who would be interested in a monthly antique fair in Aptos, California? Please email me, if that’s okay with you Victoria (feel free to edit or delete this).
I love the fan and the horse print :)
