i love the Uk’s very fabulous Living etc. magazine. it’s always fresh and has very inventive and eclectic brit-pop styling ideas i never would have thought of without a little help from the glossy pages of their beautiful magazine, or helpful, handy online galleries. i am feeling the itch to redecorate (yes, yet again) and went searching for some ideas based on a background embracing a white palette (you know, my very favorite) with bright pops of color here and there. i found lots of inspiration in the pages, and oodles of pages, of living etc.’s online galleries. here’s a peek at living etc.!

I am such a color girl. The rooms throughout my house are painted in orange, purple, blue, brown, etc… With that said, I LOVE the white rooms too. It’s giving me something to think about – maybe a guest room? Not the main living room since I have two toddlers. : )

Love Living, etc. I just picked up the August issue tonight and I can’t wait to dive in this weekend. So, I guess slipcovers really do work? I am like laura and am terrified they’d be a mess. I love the idea, I’m just not sure I’d be able to execute.
kat – yes they work! mine are room & board, and they are stain-resistant treated, but i throw them in the wash and then you put them back on slightly damp and they dry to form fit again. they’re amazing.

White interiors are stunningly beautiful. And they’re so flexible – if you need a little pop of color once in while, no problem – everything else is white! Or you can keep it all pretty monochromatic – I just love it…! And Livingetc, of course, rocks.

I love the white rooms… I try so hard but yet color always seems to sneak it’s way in some how! I think it really takes discipline.
I love number 9. I’ve been keeping that picture in my inspiration collection for a long time and it never gets old.
