sunday in the city.

well, as you may have already read, i was actually out of the city — up in beautiful sonoma. so it’s more like sunday in the countryside. glen ellen is gorgeous and remote and full of green trees and creeks and pastures. it’s jack london country — who made his home in the town from 1905 until his death in 1916. The state park was once part of the famous writer’s Beauty Ranch.. here’s a look at what you can find an hour’s drive north of san francisco, one of the many things i love about living here.

1sun

whoopsie daisy.

2sun

log lady.

3sun

an apple a day.

4sun

forest for the trees.

6sun

moment of zen.

7sun

through the woods.

8sun

don’t fence me in.
