[talking pictures: aesthetic ourburst].

this week’s [talking pictures] is from one of my favorite bloggers and artists, abbey hendrickson, of aesthetic outburst. even the name is clever and cool! you might recognize her name from some of her great guest posts here on sfgirlbybay, and you can see some of abbey’s beautiful artwork and vintage collectibles in her etsy shop, how now design and visit her here on flickr. you can also visit a house tour i did with abbey back in june of last year on unexpected guests. thanks for sharing, abbey!

here’s abbey’s [talking pictures]: “This photo of bread bag ties may seem a bit odd but it represents a huge personal accomplishment.  My husband and I had a brand-new baby (our first), moved to a new city, and I finished my masters in fine arts…all within two years.  This collection was part of my thesis exhibition last Spring.  It was an exhausting/exhilarating time in our lives and this photo reminds me that we can accomplish anything we set our minds to…on very little sleep.”

[ *note: i normally run these on tuesdays, but blame it on vacation brain fade - i screwed up! ]

I’ve heard of collecting all kinds of things… my grandpa was a notorious collector of odds and ends. But this is a new one! How cool, they are all the same exact size! They look great all wrapped up with all the colors! I love it!

Also- Vacations are meant for brain fade! Hope you had a wonderful time!
