weird science.

i love ephemera and these pages are so scientific, and yet so darn yummy! i discovered this little gem of an etsy shop, other people’s flowers and ordered a few pages myself last week. they arrived today and are just lovely — pretty color litho pages salvaged from an antique 1930s Field Book of Insects that are perfect for framing & hanging, or maybe creating a collage. for more interesting ephemera and unusual objets d’art check out  other people’s flowers’.

I’ve been really inspired by the submissions to the sfgirlbybay Flickr pool — gorgeous!

    Happy Memorial Day weekend Victoria!

Oh, I love all this sort of stuff!

I find similar amazing inspiration in the digital collections of libraries all over the world…

Love the bugs, I am so frightened of them in real life, but the wonderful drawings of them from the past are brilliant.
