Man Shops Globe – Tonight!

so sorry this is such a late post, y’all, but with the site crashing earlier today i got so behind! Anyway – tonight the Sundance channel is premiering a new show featuring Anthropologie’s ‘man about the globe’ — all about their buyer-at large Keith Johnson. The show will follow Keith’s travels around the world as he shops for Anthropologie’s beautiful, imported treasures. The dream job, right? You can find details for where and when “In The Know: Man Shops Globe: his job. his adventure”, will air here on the Sundance channel website (I do believe shows will repeat should you miss tonight, so check their schedule). Ooooh, this is when I wish i owned a television. Watch for me and fill us all in!

Addendum: I just located it on iTunes and you can download a season pass for $13.99.

    What a tough job! But I guess someone has to do it!I scanned the web the other night when I saw this was coming. I am really hoping someone might put it on you tube so that I can maybe see it. Please…

    I thought it premiered already, Comcast On-Demand has episode 1 available for viewing under the TV/ Sundance section. I watched it the other day and I want to go shopping with this man.

    I watched the first episode and am hooked. This man definitely has the greatest job. I posted on my blog the promo and about the magnificent bed he found in Provence. It’s now for sale at Anthropologie.

    Good work if you can get it! Thought the show was a bit boring though.. it seemed like 30 mins of following him around while he kept repeating “I still need something really big”. Also made me curious about how the prices he paid translated into the prices asked by Anthro? Did anyone else watch?

    hmmm…if I had an unlimited budget, a translator and a t.v. show what I could find. Seriously, the one fabulous thing he found was an amazing bed that is supposed to be in Anthro’s next catalogue.

    I am so desperate to see this show – it looks amazing! But i can’t find it on iTunes. I’m in Australia, but sure;y that wouldn’t make a difference would it? Help!
