black & white & gorgeous all over.
i have to say that door sixteen’s post inspired me to seek out more black & white goodness. some pretty interiors with black as a focal point to enhance all the color and contrast it brings out. i’ve been kind of craving a black leather sofa lately, so here’s a look at some more black, white and gorgeous all over.

Such beautiful photos!love the white bed with the chalkboard behind it! Gorgeous
I want a huge chalkboard like that!!
I love all the chalkboards. I am obsessed with them lately. My husband is in the middle of making me three large ones. I am putting one above my table(inspired by yours) and one above my bed. I had a friend who had one and her and her husband would write each other cute little notes on them. I have always loved the idea. And then I can have a project with out giving one away, so I made one for a friend.
I didn’t even know I loved black and white this much….
Despite my love and affinity for all things color, this has become my palette of choice. Blended with some warm woods it is a sophisticated and simple seduction. Ahhhhhhh.
That’s some very cool coral you have there.
Thanks guys – thanks for sharing, and I’m glad you like it, too.
the coral is from the Alameda Flea Market – she’s usually there the first sunday of the month!
Loved the “embroidered?” pillowcases in an earlier post. Can you tell me where I can find the pattern? Or what type of stitch that is? Thanks so much. Love your blog!!! Cathy
I especially love black and white paired with rich wood tones. Gorgeous!
