flickr curator: theMatt.’s.

this week’s flickr curator is none other than one of my favorite, long-time flickr friends, matt pierce, aka theMatt.’smatt and i have never met in person, but i have coveted his mighty vintage modern chair collection for a few years now i think, and have admired his excellent taste from afar. matt is a portland, oregon based designer and general tinkerer — bikes, furniture, anything he can take apart, and is also recently a first-time home buyer (congrats on that, matt, and you better share your renovations with us when you’re done). you can see more of matt’s design world on his website, designweld, and see his own wonderful flickr photostream here.

here’s a bit about what matt thinks of his current set of curated flickr favorites: “My Flickr favorites tend to serve a few purposes. One, to follow my interests – furniture, cameras, bikes, etc. Secondly, interesting people, emotions, friends and family captures. Third, nostalgia, atmospheric, peculiar or familiar scenes, usually with echos of vacations or the Midwest.”
