san-francisco

i have a pretty fun task ahead of me and i wanted to give you all the heads up, that the weekend of december 11 through the 13th, i will be playing tourist in my very own city by the bay. i was very kindly invited by the san francisco visitors bureau to eat, drink, shop and be merry in my very own city for the weekend. the san francisco visitors bureau is introducing some really fun new packages to visitors to san francisco, so i’m going to give you all a ‘test run’ and give you a sneak peek into great visitor packages from american express.

i’ll be sharing some of my best-kept secrets, places i think visitors would enjoy that will make you feel a little bit more like a ‘local’, and partaking in eating in some of my favorite neighborhood cafes, visiting sites and unique shopping in a few spots, perhaps off the usual beaten track. so, to follow my adventures, check out the san francisco visitors bureau’s community site! see you there, beginning december 11th!

What an awesome task! This is just the type of info that I look for prior to any trip, as I prefer to look and act as a local rather than a “tourist”. I would love to do this in my city….Dallas, TX! If you’re ever coming my way just give me a shout and I’ll help you blend right in!

That sounds like fun! I’ve been absolutely itching to get to San Francisco since I moved to southern CA. I have some friends I could stay with but I can’t wait to see what else you have to share with us…

This sounds like such a fun adventure. The boyfriend has been applying to dental school recently and my fingers are crossed we make it to San Francisco for the next few years.

Oooh, can’t wait for this! Gearing myself up for a trip to San Francisco in the next few years (there are reasons why not sooner), so I’m really looking forward to having the city opened up this way.
