“Hi, Kids! It’s me, your Uncle Beefy! Some of you may know of me, others may have skipped that family reunion altogether. But I am here nonetheless to “grace” you with my presence at sfgirlbybay. (All I’m gonna say is… don’t hold that against Victoria.) You never quite know what you’re gonna get with me. But don’t let that concern you… I rarely know what I’m gonna get with me either. That’s why they invented restraining devices and cocktails so let’s just make the best of it shall we?

Being something of an Anglophile (and a Francophile… so I just called myself a “Franglophile”) I find myself drawn to many things British. Today I find myself drawn to the Rough Luxe Hotel in London. (Love the philosophy behind the brand.) I’m a bit of a nutter over contrasts and the place doesn’t disappoint on that front: vintage/modern, worn/pristine. Just the type of place I’d love to carry myself away to during the holidays. Popping ’round the shops on Lamb’s Conduit Street, a tasty nosh at Ottolenghi, more shopping around Savile Row, dinner at The Wapping Project, and retiring with a White Lady, Wassail, or just a cuppa in one of these rustically sumptuous rooms. Brilliant!”

I love that most of these rooms have red.
Now, that is a nice slice of the new London life.
Great rooms-I love the rustic!
this is amazing!
