saturday in the city for the sfcvb.

it’s day two and i’m still playing tourist for the sf convention & visitors bureau, and it’s been a whirlwind! but today we did get to sleep in, and had breakfast in bed – divine! and then we spent the afternoon shopping and snacking in hayes valley, saw a film at the sundance kabuki theater, and dinner at the woodhouse fish co. you can read more all about our fun, and very busy day here, on the sf convention & visitors bureau website, and catch further adventures tomorrow. now, it’s time for some r&r. until tomorrow!

As always, thanks for the lovely photo of our shop! We’re honored! P.S., We’re all big Wes Anderson fans here at Miette Confiserie, like to listen to all the soundtracks in a row, and aspire to someday master the Wes Anderson Wardrobe Solution (same basic outfit everyday, with subtle variations). The Criterion cover-art is amazing!
I love these shots. And how great to see Christmas crackers in America! I’ve only experienced them since moving to Australia where Christmas is tends to be steeped in English traditions – minus the weather! Merry Christmas.
hi tess! nice to hear you not only make great pastries – you have great taste in films and directors! and oh – your macaroons – yum!
thanks kate – we always have christmas crackers at my house at the holidays, too!!
