san francisco-based photographer liz steketee has a new show opening this week at rayko gallery, thursday december 17th, from 6-8pm. liz’s new work ‘reconstructed memories’ is a unique series of images, utilizing her own family photographs. liz chooses unlikely combinations of family photographs and scans them for use in reconstruction, blending together multiple disparate images so that they conform to her personal memories, or preference for how things might have been. stop in to the rayko gallery for some wine and wonderful art this thursday evening!
