blissful inspiration

happy thursday!  in case you didn’t realize it, the holidays are upon us.  typically, at this point i have taken all i can due to the ridiculous amount of saturation all around me.  although, within the last 4 years my attitude has changed a bit.  I have been viewing this time of year through the eyes of my little boy.  he has helped to reinsert the magic.  i also find viewing the holiday season through the lenses of some of my favorites help.  everyone’s interpretation is different and beautifully unexpected, not at all in your face.  i appreciate the subtle, beautiful interpretations.

Lovely photos, they bring up all the feelings that we dream about during holidays… My silly question: are they really polaroids?

I was feeling a little bah humbug but these have really put me in a great Christmas spirit. The images are so peaceful and inviting. Lovely. Thank you.

  7. Georgia, I’d say a lot of those aren’t Polaroids but the one by manda (me) is and I’m pretty sure danske’s would be too. :)

Thanks for the reminder to slow down and just enjoy the season! I sometimes get caught up in the doing and forget what this holiday is really all about! (I love the deer photo!)

Funny, I recognized the “Life, Love, Paper” location right away. It’s a bottle tree outside the gift store I worked in after high school. I love FlyPaper (that’s the name of the store)!
