i just found designer & illustrator mark weaver’s work via the fab grain edit (oh, and enter today’s giveaway here!) and just had to share his amazing collages. mark mixes what looks to me like perfect typefaces combined with all sorts of styles and elements, and leaves you with this really well-designed, retro-fabulous imagery. here’s just a peek at mark’s ‘make something cool everyday’. you can follow more from mark on his flickr photostream and his website, and shop for his prints and postcards here.

I’ve been in love with Mark’s work for a while now (as any of my blog readers can attest to as I mention him often). I can’t wait to get my hands on the Moby Dick poster he did for the Kitsune Noir Poster Club!

Oh I recently did a post on his work as well! I adore it. Doesn’t it remind you a bit of Mad Men? To me, he is poking fun of mid-century optimism…do you agree?
