good reads: the uppercase winter issue.
janine and the team at uppercase have been hard at work on the design for the upcoming Winter issue of the UPPERCASE magazine and the final files will be sent to the printer by the first week of January! uppercase and i will be keeping you updated about the expected ship date to uppercase subscribers — by the way, have you subscribed? it really is one of the most well-produced design magazines i’ve seen, from everything to the lovely, uncoated paper quaility and perfect-bound bindery, to the gorgeous photography and great story content. i really am, with out a doubt, quite proud to write for, and be any part of uppercase.
this sneak preview looks fantastic, and check out the beautiful cover illustration from artist Leigh Wells! i’m pretty excited to share my story about the founders stu & janet of three potato four in this winter issue, as well as read other contributing uppercase writers’ pieces, like the piece from christine chitnis of lavender & lime’s story, with photos by andrea jenkins of hula seventy, about their shared experience at the fabulous camp for grownups, the squam art retreat. i think you’ll love uppercase!

I hope this is okay to leave as a comment, but I actually wrote the Squam story and Andrea took the pictures! I am so excited to see the way it all came together. I am jealous that you got a sneak peek!!

I’m new to blogging, and still struggling with basic design etc, never mind content… I can’t tell you how long it took me to figure out how to put a mosaic photo banner at the top of mine! I love the design of your blog, you’re obviously quite skilled at it. Will be putting you on my favourite blog list though. Happy New Year!

my besty friend Debbie took out a subcription to uppercase upon your advice Victoria. she said it was so beautiful and stunning that for christmas she gave me a subscription. i’m extremely excited to receive my first copy and preruse the pages with a nice cup of tea to hand…
