i continue my quest for the perfect black & white room decor. if it should ever, and i mean ever, stop raining here, i may just go out and get the paint to finally get started with the redesign project of my apartment! in the meantime, i continue to be inspired by simple black & white i’ve discovered via flickr groups and etsy.

What about the pink? Are you tiring of the pink. I love your little space with the white and pink and soft colors, but black and white is nice too.

I love the look of classic black and white, but for my own home I tend to use black, brown, tan, cream, ivory, and white, with a touch of blue and salmon and coral here and there.

I love black and white and your inspiration images are awesome as usual – I would never had black furniture before until I started living with Randy… all my furniture was white, and it was a compromise at first, but now I quite like the outcome!!

Great selection. I try to use black and white as the base in any room and then include bursts of color to make it more unique. My living room is black, white, grey and pink. My bedroom is black, white and maroon. I’d love to do something with black, white and turquoise but haven’t figured that one out yet. Maybe just in the hall…

Oh… thanks for the inspiration! This is the color scheme in my bedroom! Black, white, and grey. I keep thinking I need to add in some color, I tried a deep turquoise, but I just wasn’t really feeling it! Black and white make such a statement on their own, I guess they really don’t need color to go with them!

I love the collection of photographs in the tins – that’s an amazing effect, reminds me of those ‘interactive’ images you get in museums where you have to put your face up to a box to see the image inside. it really makes you stop, look, think. v. cool.

Lovely images. I have been thinking of doing my “traveling palace” that is what I call my house since we move every couple of years. I am trying to figure out some great ways to decorate that is portable/movable and then re-placed with little effort.
