i discovered this london loft via my salmagundi’s tumbler page today, and just had to share. tucked away in london’s old Spitalfields market place, what stylish old bones to fix up and make your very own. at least that’s where my mind was traveling to when i took a look-see. ah, i do love a lot about london!

I can’t believe these are all photos from a single place. It’s amazing. I’ve never been to London, but I think I might go to just to see this place in person.

I know this place! I used to work in an office on Commercial Street, right at Spitalfields Market. The location is rented out for shoots and as a party venue and just down the street, at 19 Princelet Street, is a unique museum/house that celebrates the area’s rich history. For anyone who hasn’t been to London/is going to London, I’d put the area at or near the top of places to see.

  13. woah, this space is seriously beautiful!

Hi – it’s not actually a loft but a huge Edwardian merchant’s house. Princelet Street is a whole beautiful street of them. Maybe my favourite street in London. And Natasha is right, 19 Princelet St is a historical gem, London’s oldest synagogue, but is very fragile with no money to maintain it! http://www.19princeletstreet.org.uk/
