i think i have a brand new favorite place to shop online. since the brook farm general store is located in brooklyn, new york, i’m pleased as punch that we can shop their inventory of simple and yet uniquely special homewares online. i just love a good general store!
i love how elegantly casual their accessories and homewares are. you know, in that, “oh, this old thing?” stylishly cool, European basics way. i want a lot of what they carry, and well, have bookmarked a few favorites already. here’s just some of what i’m thinking the new pad probably needs from the brook farm general store.

I too am quite in love with this store. I keep hoping to make it to the actual location in person when I’m home on the east coast, but major snowstorms have conspired against me the past three times I’ve been there. They just have so many beautiful things!
