live, from san francisco, it’s ummm, me.

okay there’s nothing much i get more freaked out about than being on camera, but etsy storque was nice enough to invite me, so i couldn’t refuse their lovely offer to feature me on their video series “there’s no place like here”. if you’d like to take a look around my apartment and hear me chat about it, pop on over to etsy and watch the video. and, just for commenting, we’re giving away one of my new “please let me be the person my dog thinks i am” prints. thanks so much to eric at etsy, for a fun day of shooting! enjoy!

oooh I’m the first to comment! =) love the guided tour….and the picture in the white Baroque style frame in your hallway(?). Really lovely. Great to see the outside of your apartment too…..tell me is Michael Keaton your downstairs neighbour!!!! =)
sorry that this is a repeat of my twitter comment, but my sister used to live across the street from you! i love that neighborhood. :)
congratulations on your video, and i am so looking forward to seeing the new place all victoriafied.
what a great piece on you! Congratulations. Your apartment is great. Love all the light and space, both often tough to find in the City. Oh, I miss the city. We’ll be up there this weekend, can’t wait!
I just was watching your video feature on Etsy and went straight to your blog- can I just say I LOVE your taste. You have an amazing apartment in sunny SF and also you have wonderful work;) Also, this is my first time commenting- but I was just so impressed that I had to:)
thanks so much you guys. i love sharing my apartment, but not being on camera!! :)
You did really well on camera. Good to hear your voice. Love the weathered white table with the glass on top – great idea!
You have such a lovely voice!
What a lovely treat.
wow, it’s so nice to see your apartment like this, we’ve seen so many photos, but seeing it like this was totally different! and seeing you talking and moving was the best – you’re great on camera!
So very cool, Victoria!! Thanks for sharing your place!!
Love your decorating style, especially the prints!
LOVED IT! So great seeing it in video! So neat and tidy…please come over here!
well golly, now that I’ve watched the video I am fairly sure that I’m glad I found you just a few days ago. I know, where have I been, right??? It’s honestly refreshing to see that you’re more my age than, let’s say – oh, 20ish. (not that you’re not gorgeously youthful) Anyway, I’m loving the blog.
Your apartment looks amazing and all the white ceramics look great! I love the chalk board you have too ^_^
cute place! great location too.
everything in your apt is so white! :))))) very nice to see the actual person behind the blog, thank you for the peek :)
i love your place! it looks so magical. i love all of the art; very beautiful.

i come to this site often but i’ve never commented! i love pac heights and the video etsy posted portrays the neighborhood perfect! didn’t know you were just off of broadway! ive passed that shingled apt complex on the corner probably 100 times– all this time youve been right there!
great job, victoria! and smart to have your place “documented” before you move. i love the leigh beisch photo – she is great! enjoy your new place! can’t wait to see what you do with it.
yay victoria! LOVE! so nice seeing your beautiful face again too ;)
that was so fun to see your whole place!! you have so many great collections & details all over your place — i’m a fan. i esp love your “V” collection, as i’m trying to start my own “&” colection. i’m curious, did you get your dining table from the flea market too? if you did, i would be so impressed!
Loved the tour! I can’t believe you live in the same apartment that Herb Caen lived! Just started following. I’m also from the Bay Area.
Gorgeous! I’m only right down the street! Can you tell me the name of the artist who did the photo of cape cod? My parents live there now and I loved that piece. Would love to see more of his work!
Thanks
It’s so awesome to get to put a voice to your posts now! :) I adore your apartment! xo
I loved the little peek into your world!
To see the divine Victoria ‘live’ is fabulous! Love your new place!
I so enjoyed the video and seeing how you take so many separate wonderful vintage pieces and arrange them in a way that brings new life and energy!
Thank you for sharing your home with us

GREAT JOB Victoria!!! I loved taking this tour via video!! You are amazing:)
GREAT video! Lovely home, could have spent longer being nosey!
My name is Stan Aaron and I am 1 years old. My mum and dad just bought me a labrador puppy. Her name is Maya and I love her so much. I would love to give my mum this poster for mother’s day and then secretly put this poster in my bedroom !!!
That is such a great piece, v. cool.
You know, i’m daft. I know you’re american – but for some reason i’ve always pictured your voice with a british accent! you know how you read someone’s writing and your brain assigns a voice to it? Weird!
You did great on that video – bet there will be a lot more in the new place too :)

Congrats :) Your place is so inspiring! You should really get over your worries about being on camera, you are wonderful!
xcellnt! Would also hope for this kind of tour in your new home too!
You looked so cute…no worries to be on camera! I am going to send this video to my mom (who lives far away from me) to show her how I want my home to be inspired and for me to be inspired by my home. I hope it gives her a little spark, too! (Wow. How amazing to live were Herb Cain lived.)
You have a great place, but the thing I absolutely love is … the print! There should also be one with cats (I have both).
