keep on truckin’.

this new furniture company makes me want to truck all the way to japan! truck furniture has recently opened in osaka, japan, and although i can’t read much of their site, i did figure out that if you see something you like, they are easily contacted for more purchasing information, and i was able to get on their mailing list for shop updates, by entering my email address here.

truck’s pieces have a great, mid-century modern feel, but maybe just a touch of a less structured feel and perhaps a rustic leaning, utilizing wood and metal in their construction and upholstered in funky plaids, for fresh modern re-purposed look. check out more from truck furniture on their stylish new website.

I love the whole aesthetic, very nice!!
I love it, it looks SO Danish mid century modern. My grandparents had a lot of furniture like this.

I love Truck! If I’m ever in Japan…
The wife and her sister also have a design studio called Shirokumasha (http://www.shirokumasha.com/). But now it looks as though the Truck website features Shirokumasha goods.

My husband would go bonkers for that big plaid chair. We’re from Seattle…can’t fight our love for flannel :)

Oh, yeah, mid century at its best! Found you via a link from another blog…will poke around your nice blog. :)
my goodness, absolutely stunning photos & design. makes me swoon!
I am a fan of their style and furniture, I want to get a truck fill with their pieces as well.
I fell in love with Truck Furniture thanks to you! I recently saw a tiny article about Truck Furniture on a Japanese girls magazine. The way you wrote about the store was much more attractive. I went to the Truck Furniture website and found out that they also have a cafe called Bird Coffee right next to their store. If you ever visit Osaka, it might be fun place to have lunch after shopping for furniture.
