guest post: inspiration, photography.

The two little girls are so beautiful and such a joy for me to photograph.

When you get into photography you begin to see everything from a photographic point of view. I often think to myself, “That would make a great picture.” I haven’t gotten to the point where I bring my camera everywhere but I think it’s only a matter of time.

It’s funny how photography seems to consume your life. I am constantly planning photo shoots in my head, scrambling to write my ideas down on scraps of paper before I forget them.

You can check out more photos I’ve taken here or stop by my blog where I periodically post my latest photo shoots.

i’m hosting a giveaway for a vintage ring. I would love for you and your readers to enter.

I love this! The dreamy quality of the photos is amazing!
I love your photos! They’re so pretty, and I totally get what you mean about seeing everything from a photographic point of view. I think when I get a better camera, it will probably come everywhere with me.
The problem for me with shoots is getting people to let me take photos of them!! (I managed to get an impromptu one though the other night at a bonfire – because it was just silhouettes they didn’t care that I was photographing them! Score!!)
Anyway, your photography is lovely, as is your blog :)
xx
rock it, girl!! you have such a great eye! Rebecca (of BOL)

Gorgeous photos, Micaela! I love the display of kindred spirits in these pictures, especially the apple picking one and the one overlooking the creek. Thanks for sharing. :)
LOVELY photos! I love the last one…oh my.
I love her work and her blog. One of my favorites :)
i especially love the bottom photo- so magical, just like a fairy tale.
The image with the apples and the sweet girls is simply perfect in every way!
these are precious! especially the field of flowers…how i would love to run through a field of flowers…but they are non-existent here in Vegas :(
Beautiful shots! They seem like a fairy tale.
Hi i’m interested in the effect you give to your photos.so nice…it’s like “a deja-vu…” or a dream. very nice. woul you like to share some of your photoshop secret:D ?
@Anca M: I didn’t actually use photoshop for most of these pictures (I just got photoshop a few weeks ago). I used Flickr picnik to edit my photos. I bought a fogolizer lens filter, which bascially, well, makes your photos foggy. That’s mainly where I get the effect from since I do minimal photoshopping.
Your photography is always SO amazing!!! Beautiful images! :)
great!thanks for sharing! love your work
