good reads: easy elegance.

i love interior decor books, and realized while packing to move, that i own way too many for my own good! but i adore them so much, i just can’t part with them. one lovely book i came across and hadn’t looked at for a while is ‘easy elegance’ from interior stylist atlanta barlett.

i love the eclectic, and yet simple ideas and inspiring images she shares from photographer polly wreford. so this book, yeah, it’s definitely a keeper. i found quite a few ideas i’d love to incorporate in my new home, and thought i’d share some here with y’all today. sit back and enjoy some ‘easy elegance’.

  1. I share your passion for decor books and, oh my, I think I may have to add this one to my collection! So much more charming to incorporate vintage finds than buying all new.

  2. oh, a saarinen table – how lucky is that!

I just borrowed this book from the library and I love it, but unfortunately someone tore out a bunch of the pages :( Man, I would love a Saarinen table like that for my living room!

I LOVE IT! Sometimes I feel like with the popularity of mid-mod, there’s no place for my more frilly things. But this book is totally my style…love the mix of old and new. I will definitely have to look for it at the library.
