hello again sfgirlbybay readers! it’s nicolle here from sacred lotus photography and I have some wonderful eye candy for you today.

last week was ‘roid week on flickr. what is ‘roid week you ask? it’s a celebration of polaroid and instant film photography done twice a year in spring & fall. polaroid week got it’s start back in 2006 by these two ladies cate & lori. in the first year there was only 81 members in the flickr group! over the past five years the group number has grown to over 1,500 people who all share the same appreciation and love for instant film.

each year i am introduced to so many new photographers and at the end of the week i find myself filled to the brim with inspiration! i would like to say a big thank you to cate, lori, the impossible project, and all of the people who participated. you all made the week so much fun!
here is just a sampling of some of the amazing photos you will find in this year’s spring ‘roid week group on flickr. enjoy!!!

cate, The Gentleman Amateur, amalia chimera, and phamalamb.

Jeremy Stockwell, fernandadesu, revivify, and mary….
