blissful inspiration

good morning all!  i think this week’s theme is pretty obvious. sometimes i forget that my little one is more than just a small being that comes attached to a big responsibility. he is a little person.  he is deep in thought more than i give him credit for and is always working on what type of adult he is going to grow into. i forget until i see a particular photograph or catch a quiet moment. i literally can’t breath at times because it is so powerful.  which is the exact reason i chose these particular photographs — moments that capture little ones, working it all out.

i encourage all of you to take out your cameras and snap a few photographs of children in your lives.  i think you may be surprised by how powerful it all is.  i would also love links to some moments already captured.  see you all next week!

One thing I greatly appreciate about my parents is the amount of photos they took of my brother and I as children, especially during Halloween. I uploaded one here: http://caithnard.tumblr.com/post/595774117

Wonderful images – was only thinking this morning that I miss walking home from school with her hand in mine, talking about nothing and everything in particular. As she is nearly 12, that phase has most definitely passed.

i love this. i think about this so often with my little ones. we take so many photos in our house but they are taken from my 2 year old perspective. after a day i go through them and just marvel at her point of view.
