from sweden with love.

i heard from a lovely and really talented photographer last week, ulrica wihlborg, who shared these incredibly beautiful shots she took of this very grand swedish home she thought y’all might like to see. It’s airy, clean and full of lovely light…and very Swedish with its white color scheme and simplicity. just stunning!

Ulrica was born and and raised in Sweden before moving to the states, and now divides her time between San Francisco and Los Angeles. She has worked as a feature writer and magazine editor for Time Inc. for over a decade, while developing her own photographic style and skills for the past seven years. Ulrica’s photography is influenced by her Scandinavian aesthetics with its clean, organic lines. Ulrica loves film photography and rarely leaves home without a medium-format camera. The images are so serene. Feels like you could really relax in that home – and the view outside is tremendous. Lovely.
beautiful photos and home!
All the wood is making these spaces so very warm! And the whites are just beautiful when combined with the soft browns. xox

the natural wood bed is a dream
These are some gorgeous shots! xxx
*sigh* ….. i want to live inside of every single one of these images…. so light, airy, beautiful, full of life…. love them.
Oh, a part of me dies inside every time I see these light, beautiful, airy interiors. I have an entire list of strikes against me: two misbehaving cats, one big fat indoor black lab, a messy husband, and my inability to stop dragging every piece of junk I find into the middle of the living room to inspect. I think some of us are destined to be darker-homed people, but we can still dream with our head in the clouds :) Thank you Scandinavian design, for being everything I daydream about.
I love the shot of that piano, and those mismatched chairs in the last photo are lovely.
really nice house……..you could never ever live in such a big and nice house in HK unless u r the richest man there.
