guest post: minted condition.
today, the lovely bekka from the blog minted condition is stepping in to share some amazing artist studio spaces! thanks bekka!

I feast upon images of real artists studios, not the professionally styled images, but ones that actually look used. I’m dreaming of updating my studio (okay, I don’t have a studio, but if I did I would be ready to make some upgrades).

I can’t decide if I would work best in a super clean or perfectly messy space. I am equally inspired by images of crazy organized studios and ridiculously messy ones. My current situation is halfway between, and I feel ready to commit to one side or the other. Am I of the disheveled or pristine camp?

love the studio of rachel whiting, lots of things, but so well organized! looks fabulous! if only I could keep all my stuff like this! xo
i love the idea of have a studio, i have a space or i use a spaces of my home so thats crazy, so organized uhh – messy ehh, studio :D
As far as studios go, I think they should be full of inspiration. {for the person who works in there} I am fairly bi-polar as far as the bare/messy camps go, so I try to keep my options open. Room for clutter and piles of photos, as well as a place to stash it when I get sensory overload.
Love the photos! Alice

wonderful! i love to see other artists spaces!
love love love this post. especially the very last picture because it looks like they’re in a small space, just like me, and had to squish everything into one corner.
I’m in the messy camp… my palette is clean and my easel has a single item on it, everything else has its particular spot, but I might be the only human who knows where/what that spot is :)
I love that you love to look at real studios spaces. I have a few pictures of mine on my flickr page (website link above)
I’m so with you…real spaces are often so much more inspiring. This studio certainly is. Thanks for posting. Will
Lovely! I always get a little teary-eyed when I see actual working studio spaces. Maybe it’s because I love to see creativity in progress, or maybe it’s because I don’t have one myself and these look like a dream come true?
Not sure, but I’m definitely transported!
I LOVE studios and am obsessed with peeking into other artists’ work spaces. My studio can always use some work so I love being inspired by what others do. Thanks for the post!
