nooks and niches.
we’ve all got these odd little nooks and niches around the house that we’re not always sure what to do with. a funny little hallway, or a recessed built-in from an era when phones still attached to our walls. i happen to love decorating these little spots. creating a sweet little vignette of collectibles, adding a vintage chair with perhaps a few books stacked up nicely, or adding a bit of artwork and creating a mini gallery. here’s a few grand examples of what to do with the awkward nooks and crannies.

There is something here, this dusty-bright coves, and kitchen caves, that set me straight into carving out one just for me, in my own home.

It seems I’m going to be quite busy on Pinterest — so many gorgeous photos you’ve given us to swoon over. The lilacs are my favorite, but I adore that antique couch. Pieces like that are so rare and special and the fabrics on it are wonderfully interesting.

im pretty in love with all of these photos! ive been on the hunt for a rustic vintage chair ala that turquoise one for awhile now for a random nook in my apartment. no luck yet, though!

I love the room with the globe and the desk, as well as the nook/cranny with the couch in it. That stark white look with different splashes of color is so great.
