thank you anna! we’re out in the yard – she’s snoozing in the dirt (that should be a garden by now) and i am working. :)
Look at that sweet face. Congratulations to you both. Those are some gorgeous eyes she has.
it looks like she and the rug are one :) Pretty eyed girl!

Oh my lord. Lucy is so beautiful.. those eyes are just amazing. Congratulations on your new addition; you are both lucky to have each other!
She is so pretty! Now I want a dog….but I need to get a house first. Nobody will want to rent to someone with a dog and 2 cats…. Congratulations to the newest addition to your family!

This made me tear up. There’s nothing better than springing a dog from the pound. She’s lovely, and I wish you two all the best.
I RECENTLY ADOPTED LUCY’S BOYFRIEND “DESI” FORM THE HOUSTON POODLE RESCUE. TELL HER HE’S TALL, DARK AND HANDSOME… I LOVE HIM TO PIECES! CONGRATS ON YOUR LITTLE LADY!

Oh, what a beautiful sweet looking girl. As an animal lover and owner of a few, I will tell you that the love that you will share will be like no other. May you have many happy years together. She will be a blessing. Congrats! -Debbie
What a lucky, lucky Lucy dog. We have a rescue dog too. The other day we all looked at her and noticed how wriggly-with-joy and tail waggy she had become. She finally knows she has her people and she’s home safe and sound. * bliss *
Lucy has the most intense eyes. And those eyebrows! I think there’s a human brain inside that fluffy head.
thanks everyone.
susan – i think she looks a little like einstein! :)
She is so lovely, and boy does she match your rug! Nice to see you have found a new friend in Lucy. I miss having a dog so much.
How adorable. And she matches the rug perfectly. Try not to step on her. Congrats, she is lovely.
looks like you and lucy will be getting along just fine as you have the same design aesthetic :) and is that one of liane’s cross pillows? i love mine!
alexandra – yep – it’s liane’s cross pillow! :) i have two.
lucy trashed this room last night. you should see it. naughty, naughty girl! pulled down the curtain rod and everything. i think a little crate training is in order. :)
what a lovely lady..so happy for you!
She’s a cutie! Nice that her fur matches your room. Have fun playing with her.
I’m sure you will have many many wonderful years filled with fun and joy with a cutie like Lucy. She is just too cute.
We actually didn’t want any dog at this time but we ended up with my sons dog Brownie. They had a baby last year and Brownie (almost 8 years old) just wouldn’t accent the new family member and it was too dangerous to keep her in their house. So we decided to take her in our house and we have never regret it. She gives so much love back to us and when she is looking at us with her beautiful brown eyes we just melt away. In our house she is as loving and well behaving as she could be.
LOVE her – which did you choose first, the dog or the rug?
Oh Lucy is so adorable!! Here’s to many happy years together :) Nothing better than coming home to a dog!
Wow, what a beautiful little spirit she is. She will change your life…all good though! And atleast you won’t have to worry about dog hair on the rug! :)
Congratulations–dogs are the best people in the world!
oh, i am so happy for you, victoria! she’s a beauty and i hope she shows up on the site often!
That is a beautiful dog!
Congrats to you and Lucy! I know how hard it was to say goodbye to your friend Cooper, but I am glad you and Lucy have found each other. May your celebration of time together be an honor and remembrance and full of much needed joy for both of you I am sure.
aah. your rug looks like a particularly fun one! she looks fab – those baby blue eyes! congratulations victoria. have lots of fun together!
She is so gorgeous! It’s so funny because we were just saying how people subconsciously choose dogs that look like their decor–or accidentally decorate like their dogs (http://pittiesincity.blogspot.com/2010/10/doggystyle-twins-accidental-home-decor.html)
Lucy seems to fit perfectly with your place!
Aww … I adopted King on Aug 13, 2010. This seems to be the year of dogs for my friends as well … Forever homes!
Lucy is just gorgeous … She is a lucky girl, you too!
