tuesday’s girl: juco.

i recently discovered the photography of julia galdo, and really felt drawn to it. then i saw more of her work teamed with her partner Cody Cloud, working together as JUCO, entitled ‘Cactaceae’, a story shot for TOKION magazine. i loved the images shot in the desert, at Moortens Botanical Garden in Palm Springs, with a kind of modern, native american aspect to them, that i keep seeing in fashion trends these days. here’s a look. i hope you like. for more fantastic images from juco, visit their website.

These are kinda weird, but I can’t stop looking at them! Oddly fascinating. Thanks for pointing this work out! Any ideas who designs the knit pants and maxi dress? I couldn’t figure iut out from their site.

Julia and Cody rock. Not only are their photos beautiful, they are the coolest cats to work with. Loving the collaboration! Go team Juco!
PS I adore the photo with the light streaming through the model’s dress. Incredible and natural.
