vintage finds for a modern world: slouchy sofas.
so, i’m getting the itch (maybe it’s terminal) to redecorate my living room again. i know i just got here, but i crave a comfier look. and a vintage, or a vintage-inspired new sofa just may be part of that equation. ideally, it’s black, and it’s leather — sounds rather naughty, doesn’t it?
i’ve seen some of these around, and a nice worn in, supremely slouchy leather sofa might just be the look i’m going for, or perhaps something deep and tufted. here’s a look at some vintage-inspired sofas i love.

ah, the illness. i know it all too well! we just moved in to our place less than 3 months ago, and i’m already ready to switch it up! a slouchy sofa is heavenly – especially after a long day shopping in the mission!
Can’t say I’m a fan of the leather sofas, but that wallpaper in the second room is oh so pretty! And that pink couch is rather cute!

Wow, I’m in good company here. I really thought I would be the only person who loved old sofas. They just don’t make them like this anymore, or if they do they are very costly. I am eclectic & love the frou-frou day beds all the way to the Naugahyde leather sofa found in office with the faint scent of cigar smoke. Thanks for the great pics
great selection, the mikael beckman sofa is already in my inspiration folder, however i may need to add the slouchy pink (just in another colour) as well. the extra deep seat is essential for daytime nanna naps!
