modern america.

i came across this photograph of a vintage book in mclovebuddy’s esty shop, and the color and design excited me and inspired me to gather up some vintage-inspired decor. it’s so very cinematic to me. i did a little daydreaming, mentally leafing through the pages…and ended up in mid-century modern america.

pendant lamp by something from us, as seen on design milk; poolside painting by samantha french; and an amazing mccobb dresser from stewf.

retro vegas chairs from reclaim the throne; bau pendant lamp by Vibeke Fonnesberg Schmidt for Normann-Copenhagen, via digsdigs; and mid-century modern collection from kitschcafe.
