good reads: lonny.

the march/april issue of lonny is available for online viewing, and as per usual, no disappointment here. not a lick. lonny continues to share a diverse range of tastes and styles, but as you might imagine, i am most drawn to the eclcetic igenuity feature, showcasing the most marvelous vintage-modern home of colleen locke.

this 1960′s cape cod home, complete with a 200-year-old barn, is full of the most unexpected collections that seemlessly fall together to create an almost whimsical, yet definitely serene and sophistcated home. and i completely concur with colleen’s tips for keeping your vintage modern. i’m pretty much in awe, and could move in on moment’s notice. check out the latest issue of lonny, and let us know – what was your favorite feature?

  6. This is my friend’s house!!! I am so excited that the world is getting to view her talent for design in this month’s Lonny. The place is so wonderful in person. Patrick Cline captured the essence of the space just perfectly – warm, interesting, stimulating, energized, comfortable…a fabulous family home, and a fabulous family, too.

merideth, i would guess that those are vintage, and you can probably find them on ebay, craigslist or a store that specializes in mid-century modern furniture.
