sunday in the city.

i’m back in san francisco this sunday in the city, wandering around the mission with my sidekick lucy and my trusty camera. just snapping unexpected finds, and discovering some ‘found type’. kinda loved the movie poster slapped up on a construction site barrier, and tried to find some other interesting bits of type to share. hope you found some fun stuff this weekend, too.

Nice shots! Made me miss the city!
These shots inspire! Each could be part of a series: laundromats, coffee houses, churches, “walking the dog” shadows, etc… A fellow City girl, have loved your photos and blog for ages. Glad you re-instituted these posts. Cheers!
This is my kind of “Sunday in the City” love the typographic theme V!
I always love these Sunday in the City posts. That spinning laundry photo rocks!
Love the shadow shot of you and Lucy. Shadows make for some of the most interesting photos…
Happy Monday to you. :-)
love this post…the dryers and the stable are favorites…..
Such a lovely series. I’ve always wanted to go to the Stable Cafe!
great shots, love the one of the shadows
I love seeing things in my neighborhood and I love the Stable Cafe too, my hubby painted their sign.
thanks you guys!
debbie – i’ve shot that sign so many times – i love the bold white letters on the black building!
It is a lovely simple sign…Victoria, I think you have taken more pictures of my hubby’s work around the city too. He is at New Bohemia Signs. http://www.newbohemiasigns.com/

Beautiful photos!
Stunning photos, Victoria! I especially love the spinny movement in the washing machines with that little pop of yellow. Love!

The washing machines are absolutely incredible! As is the angle from which you snapped the dog on the leash. Love this post!
