the stylists: lotta agaton.

i love the work of stockholm-based freelance interior stylist, lotta agaton. a reader sent me the link to her blog, and a link to her fabulous swedish apartment, which she is selling (more on that later!). first, i wanted to share some of her black & white styling with y’all. i love all these rooms with the natural wood accents and graphic accessories, and oh hey – see that tree up top? i want one of those! i’ve been hunting for a kumquat tree, so it’ll have little pops of orange – love the idea of that with lots of black. i want these white floors, too, but i think the landlord would be much less upset about the tree. anyway, here’s a look at lotta.

I love Lotta’s work. I’ve been drawn to white and black for a while and so I’m really inspired by these rooms. Thanks for sharing. I’m heading over to her blog right now.
There is so much to be said for simplicity. These are just gorgeous!
Love her aesthetic. I have been wanting to paint my office floors white forever, but my landlord (aka husband) is also against the idea. Yes to the kumquats!
i want to pack up and move into each one! xo t
Love these vignettes- they remind me of my European friend who shares the same aesthetic in decor.
There is not one thing I don’t love in this post!
I love Lotta’s work. Her blog is fab, too!
Being a stylist must be the best job in the world! Goodness, I love all that black and white. Especially the black door.
Wonderful! I love the generally understated, but oh-so-perfect, style, with pops of color.

Amazing spaces! I love that rustic concrete wall! And so many fabulous designer chairs, they work perfectly in the each room!

I LOVE this blog as well…and this post blew me out of the water. We’re about to move and my color palate is black and white, so this was AWESOME inspiration! Thanks for the post! I love you!!!
