modern love.

‘we want to be modern’, an exhibition at the national museum of warsaw in poland was featured over on designboom today, so if you love mid-century modern, you really need to check out their full coverage. the show, on now until april 17, should you happen to be jetting off to warsaw, features polish design from the ‘post thaw’ period of 1955-1968. my chair obsession is making my heart all aflutter! fabulous!

    You’ve just reminded me of how much I want to go to Poland again, as a traveler instead of a student. This looks like an incredible show! I love the pieces on the walls–so vibrant and lively. I wonder if the exhibit will travel at all?
