pssst…yeah, it’s ikea.

there’s some brand new and very affordable looks at ikea – never mind that some of them may look old, or at least a little vintage. first up — your guests will never guess when you break out the good china, that it’s from, ummm, ikea. skyn is ikea’s new elegant line of dinnerware with a uniquely modern shape ($10 – $30).

ikea has also added some great new lamps to their lighting collection: the foto pendant (above, $30) has an industrial look, and the varmluft (below – just $5 – $8!) is quite mid-century modern. love ‘em both. and lastly, they’ve added the gray & white rosmarie fabric (above, just $8.99/yd) and some very pretty in pink bedding, entitled emelina. just had to share…

All so pretty! (and soooo affordable!) I’m lovin those rustic lamps.
Whoa, I just about did a double take! Those pendent lights are great!
lovely!
Oh! Thanks for the heads up. I second that on the pendants.
I love Ikea! Just went there the other weekend for a shower curtain and left with a cart full of goodies and plans to redecorate the bedroom and bathroom.

leanda – ha! i don’t know. do you wear it when you’re decorating in a construction zone?!
wow – photos are impressive and lovely. makes me long for ikea to be closer than a 4 hour drive!
The nearest ikea is about 3 hours away from me, but I do make journeys about twice a year to stock up and check out the new stuff. It just makes me happy.
Absolutely love the pillow cases and bedsheets!!! They look really lovely!
they are in the midst of building an IKEA here, and I can’t tell you just how excited I am!
I love the pretty pink bedding. It’s cute and it accentuates the feminine fell of the bedroom.
I’ve never liked Ikea before. But I think I’ll drop by their store this weekend to window-shop.
