fab friday.

kitka’s fab couch.
now that i’ve gone over to the dark side, yet again, and painted my bedroom wall gravel gray, i’m in a very black & white mood again. inspired by the change, this fab friday i’m all about hunting down fabulous black and white finds. think of it as black friday, but with a little white thrown in for good measure.

clockwise from left to right: love the holgaroid camera from the impossible project; urban outfitter’s chalkboard map of the usa could be a fun way to track from travels; i’ve been really wanting this Saint James Striped Fisherman Hat; the type from andre beato, via grain edit is beautiful and inspiring; i still love the classic butterfly chair, this one from homestead; and i’ve got a major crush on french bull’s Harlequin Flex bag.

sweet little birds on a wire photo clips from urban outfitters.

love this pretty and very simple black and white bedroom too, from the happy home.

this is one clever little sewing kit from ferm living – just add some stitches around anything you please, and create your very own pattern to “cut” from.

Petit Ink Butterfly Tea Cosy from gloaming designs; pretty natalie one-piece polka-dot bathing suit from anthropologie; set of thermo café mugs from rare device; completely in love with this katja bach print; and jonathan adler’s new Relief Drip Ceramic Pendant lamp.

black + white is my fave. great inspiration here. love that chalkboard map.
it is all so visually stimulating!
great picks
These pegs are adorable and I really like the B&W picture. I’ve almost finished my family B&W moodboard…check it out, I think you will like it. Have a great weekend Victoria

oh boy, “chuck” the truck would love a sewing pattern of his own! and we could even cut around the dents and spots of rust…
that is one awesome moodboard (and house!). :)
bill – do it, and let’s see!
you are in some sort of zone Victoria, love all of these – that car is amazing.
ha! thanks jan! :)
Oh my, you should have included our black pleather table runners, they would look marvelous darling….just marvelous. However, I do just love your blog.
B&W! Yey! and your charcoal bedroom is absolutely lovely!!! …but tell me, what do you do when you love b&w interiors and eclectic colorful interiors at the same time? yeah, that’s me….;)
B&W interiors! YEY! And I absolutely love your charcoal gray bedroom! good choice!
I think I definitely need something black in my home (other than the TV!). I’d love a string of those birds on a wire.
cute post – loving that suit, just wishing it wasn’t so $$
oohhh la la a beautiful collection of black + white!
hmm… i now it’s common place, but… i’m an artist from paraguay and i’ve done an intervention (two, actually, the second was at a biennial in brazil) to a cultural center back in 2003 that looks exactly like the adhesives that you show in the car and the windows, etc… “the sewing kit”
i did it with black tape, cutting it in 2 inches sections and cut out the scissors in contact paper.
my website is under (a much needed) renovation, but you can see part of the old site at http://www.claudiacasarino.com/trabajos/2003.htm
claudia – that does indeed, look very similar!
You may have just found a new swim suit for me! And just in time…the polka dots and the style, both divine.
Hope you had a nice weekend!
Love that “Natalie” suit. It’s so me!
