i have a really difficult time pinning myself down when it comes to choosing lighting fixtures. there’s so many beautiful bright lights out there, and they can really make a room shine, can’t they? it’s hard deciding on just the right style. they can add a modern contrast to a romantic room, or provide dreamy ambiance to a stark, contemporary interior. i thought i’d share a glimpse at some pretty examples of just what kind of impact great pendant lamps can add to decor.
schoolhouse electric’s pendant lamps; a modern metallic globe from stylist petra bindel; the Ocean Minutiae Chandelier from anthropologie; vintage-modern sprocket cone lamp via the selby; and a disco ball diy chandelier from sonyro.
one completely fabulous room from designer Mikel Irastorza, via desire to inspire.
dolan geiman’s flashlight pendant lamp; nest chandelier; Feinedinge, via decor8; vintage paper lanterns, via oh happy day!; and an another amazing room from designer Mikel Irastorza, via desire to inspire;
a fancy crystal chandelier dresses up and contrasts rustic country french decor, from Yiorgos Kordakis.
i’d love to make this brilliant pulley beside lamp, from dwell.
