first off, i don’t wear fur, but bring on the faux fur any old day. i’ve got this kitschy vintage faux fur leopard coat (below) and i wear it out on the town when i’m feeling sassy. i think it adds some extra sass, and who doesn’t need that now and then? this tuesday’s girl i’m rounding up some kitty cats, big ones – some fun faux fur to bring out your inner cat woman. meow!

Oh this title made me laugh…thanks, I needed that. Somehow I have a lot of this sort of thing tucked in & around the house, in the closet. Some are sent by friends such as tie-on collars (like the “raccoon” one above), another scarf, the lining in a purse, a vintage leather jacket w/hood that has jazzy fake leopard, on & on. I never think of myself as “that” person but…meeeeeooooow. I guess I am!

I guess (fake) fur is nice, but I can’t wear it. It just bugs me. And with my allergies I think even that would send me into a sneezing fit that would prolly never end LOL

Faux fur ROCKS! It is easy to clean, animal friendly and actually takes less energy to produce than farm-raised critters… not to mention all the nasty chem’s used in the creation of real fur!

Thank you so much for giving a shout out to faux fur! I think living in SF, we see far less of the real thing being trotted around town than if we were in NY, but still its out there and every time I see it I want to cry, and kick and scream, then wag my finger in their face. Hooray for faux fur!
