the fresh makers.

while putting together this post, all that kept coming to mind was mentos: the fresh makers. don’t ask me why exactly, it just popped into my brain and wouldn’t leave. those Scandinavian commercials and all that very minty fresh vibe. just like these rooms! i’m redecorating, yet again, and would love to achieve some of these looks. it may mean a lot of ‘out with the old, in with the new’, but that’s half the fun. and in all likelihood, it’ll be vintage-new.

here’s a prime example of my decorating dilemma – several different genres and styles. i can’t decide on just one, so i have to mix them up! love this sofa via the dos family; and a mix of modern and vintage by stylist LAURENCE PASQUIER, via sarah kaye represents.

i’d like to have a soothing and inviting guest bedroom, via domino; decorated with summer bloom ivory cushion from the conran shop; diy window box from red online; cradle by lauren bahr from mammoth collections; and lovely blooms via domino.

i love all this white, and then an unexpected dash of cowhide, via living etc.

pretty pink sofa via hus & hem; tangerine bonsai topiary from viva terra (i have to have one of these!); and stylist sophie brown via sarah kaye represents.

alvhemmakleri and lonny.

one very fab lounge chair, via shelterness.

that topiary!! angele restaurant in napa used to have mini olive tree topiaries on each table and slightly bigger citrus trees (not quite this small) on a few of the counters. i am obsessed with them!
the florist they use is here in napa–let me know if you want their name (although i’m sure you could find something similar in the city!).
lovely images! my fav is the last one…
I love the second to last image in the left. The book case hanging on the wall is wonderful. Thank you for always sharing such great images.

Just give me anyone of these light filled room’s please. I have come to realize that my cottage is much too dark.
Note to self: Look to rent a Victorian with long hallways and big windows. sigh.
Ooooh that rose printed ceiling is so pretty and unique!

Lovely as always. On my list… white paint, and vintage curtains to sew pillows.

I love that last photo. That would be the prettiest little guest room!
The red floral couch is amazing! Beautiful Happy Cinco de Mayo! {makes me want to put a flower in my margarita} xo Samantha
This post made me drool. I have the same problem with design – can’t stick to one. :)
