guest post: bliss.
hello sfgirlbybayers! it’s mrs. french by way of bliss, and i couldn’t be more thrilled to be here. it has been way too long!

i have to admit i have been a bit preoccupied, which has made blogging a bit tough. i have been preoccupied by thoughts of the beach. the family and i are getting ready to visit our beloved coast and i am completely giddy. six years ago my husband and i were looking for the perfect place to start a family. he had one item on his relocation wish list, a spot closer to the mountains (the guy loves to ski). we were pretty set on beautiful colorado, but on a whim decided to take a trip to oregon. i was impressed with the mountainous terrain and portland seemed like a perfect city, but what really sealed the deal was our day-trip to the oregon coast. i knew i had to be near this magical place.

we have made many trips from portland to the coast in the 6 years we have lived here. my thoughts and dreams often go to owning a beautiful beach house one day. i have a file dedicated to this very daydream. i would like to share some of my favorite beachy interiors with all of you:

via remodelista.

via bliss.

via modern beach house.
i am a simple girl, any of these would do nicely. i am hoping i have given you some day dreaming material as well. xo mrs. french

Any of those would do just fine for me too! Nice to see you! xo
yummy! more than a dream i hope. :)
Love time at the coast. Nothing is as calming in the same way as it is there. And here’s to hoping the dreaming can be reality too! :>
my fav is the last one with the sheepskin and log table. my husband has golfed on the Oregon coast and
thinks it is the most beautiful place ever.
Oh wow. That was nice. Cozy and awesome views.
I want to run away to any of these images this weekend. Looks like the perfect r&r kind of places!

I am thirsty for those pastels and the raw, rough hewn woods.
Cheers!
Some beautiful images there. Love the log table and the cube one. Really cool stuff.
The cozy ‘beach house of our own’ made me absolutely weepy – I long to be there…
I will be dreaming about it all day. :-)
I love the simplicity of these interiors. The soft tones, natural textures and light. It is just how a vacation home should make you feel. Relaxed and cozy! Love the Oregon coast as well.
so serene !
