sunday in new york city.

this sunday in the city, i’m sharing a last look at my trip to new york. it was a bittersweet trip, one that i looked so forward to, and one that ended in sad news about my dad. nevertheless, it was an experience of a lifetime, and one i will treasure. i love new york.

That first photo is just great. Sorry to hear about bad news, but sounds like you have your chin up :)
Hooray for orange! ♥
You captured the beauty and the fun of NY. Your dad would be proud of you and glad you’re sharing your vision with the rest of us.
You really made NYC look even more fantastic and inviting than it is! I love the blurred motion pic! I’m sorry about the sad news about your dad. Take care Victoria.
i love them all. come back soon!
Thanks for reminding me to see Pulp Fashion at the Legion of Honor. It ends June 12. http://legionofhonor.famsf.org/legion/exhibitions/pulp-fashion-art-isabelle-de-borchgrave
There’s no good place for feeling bad. Mend quickly, my dear.
Simply gorgeous. What a wonderful place to spend a Sunday! The pickles are making my mouth tingle…
oh! This makes me really want to go to NYC x
Great Photos’once again! Now I’m in the mood to go to a Jewish Delicatessen thanks to the pickle picture! Might have to go visit Saul’s in Berkeley. I also get in the mood to listen to Joe Strummer’s Johnny Appleseed. He loved New York. xoxo

wonderful set. makes me want to visit NYC (the last time i went was as a child). hope you got my email yesterday with spring-y pics… take care :)
You take such beautiful photos! Stunning.
Your Sundays in the City never fail to Inspire and make me Smile. I must buy a diptych of yours one of these days. Might as well smile at them on my walls.
Love this post, and so glad you got to go. I am going in August for work related travel, but always take one full day to just walk, no taxis, maybe a subway, but just walk and take it all in. Welcome home.
You know how we all look back at a specific impact on our life, and how we remember that moment by where we were and what we were doing. I have a feeling you will remeber it with a smile. It was how you said your Dad would want you to enjoy yourself, that was a massive part of your healing with a smile, remembering your dad with a smile.
wow, it’s amazing how different SF and NYC can look. SF seems…i don’t know…dreamier? NYC is more ‘real’
hope you’re having a cozy weekend and thinking of good stories about your dad :)
LOVE that first photograph, its genius!
thanks, dianne. it’s my favorite, too. :)
